Death Café
Join us for Death Café at Peoples Town Coffee Bar
on Thursday (3/14) from 6-8 pm.
What is Death Café?
Death Café is a safe space to talk about death since death is considered a taboo topic in Western society. This is NOT a space for grieving or counseling, but it is a space to talk about all things death (e.g., what happens when you die, what you want your end-of-life care to look like, what you want to happen to your body after you die)."
Commonly Asked Questions:
Who is Death Café for?
The group demographic varies! People young and old, people who have thought deeply about their death, and people who've never thought about it. Death Café is for everyone! Everyone dies.
Do I need to share or participate?
Guests do not have to share. You can simply come sit and listen if you’d like!
How often is Death Café?
Death Café happens monthly. (If y’all show up, we’ll host more at PTC - but Death Café does have other dates/host locations too!)
Why are we hosting a Death Café?
To give people the opportunity to think about death in a society that teaches us to avoid it.
We’re proud to present Death Café and we hope to see you at this unique and powerful event.
